“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?  You are not your own, for you were bought with  a price.  So glorify God in your body.”  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Paul here is writing to the Christians in Corinth, who were uncertain in their beliefs.  He says to them that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, which is in you and whom you have received from God.  You are not there on  your own, but you were bought at a price when the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, came in human form to pay for our sins on the Cross of Calvary.  Paul asks the Christians that they honour God with their bodies.  Therefore, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, the Church of our God is greatly strengthened.

 Build us up, Lord God, as stones in Your church, to proclaim Your glory.  Amen.
