Worship at Christ Church

Our weekly services are at 10.30 am each Sunday, and and there are special activities for children during most services: a creche for children below school age, and our Sunday school, “God’s Gang”, for children aged five or over.

Everyone is welcome at all our services. If you are visiting us for the first time, the people who greet you at the door will be happy to answer any of your questions about that day’s service or about the church generally. You may find it helpful to read our guide to what to expect when you visit, which describes a typical service at our church.

Finding us 

Our church building is at 227 Poverest Road, between Orpington and Petts Wood.

Coming up Poverest Road from Orpington, we are on the left, about half a mile from the junction between the A224 (Cray Avenue) and Poverest Road. Coming from Petts Wood, we are on the right, about a quarter of a mile from the roundabout at the junction of Poverest Road and Chislehurst Road.

If you’re visiting us from further afield (please use the controls on the map to zoom out for a wider map area), the nearest motorway junction is J.4 of the M25, and the nearest railway stations are Petts Wood, Orpington and St Mary Cray. We are also on the R3 bus route and close to the 61 bus route (Poverest Road stop).
