No one comes to the Father except through me.&#8217;\u201d John 14:6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ESCAPE FROM A DARKENED VALLEY<\/p>\n<p>This valley of disgrace,<br \/>\nWhat is it we all choose to embrace?<br \/>\nIs it the fellowship with one another,<br \/>\nBreaking bread and drinking wine,<br \/>\nWorshiping the Lord Jesus Christ,<br \/>\nWho had victory on earth,<br \/>\nTo save all our lives.<\/p>\n<p>Or do we drown in that valley,<br \/>\nAnd only live our lives for our own demise?<br \/>\nFollowing our own footsteps,<br \/>\nAnd using the clouds to hide,<br \/>\nBut knowing there\u2019s a higher power,<br \/>\nBut petrified of dedicating our own lives.<\/p>\n<p>I once was that person,<br \/>\nAnd only cared for lies,<br \/>\nAnd deprived others of my love,<br \/>\nSo my own cravings would suffice.<\/p>\n<p>But one day I was seeking,<br \/>\nFor an answer to the question of life,<br \/>\nAnd found myself asking the stars up in the sky;<br \/>\nBut when I asked I found I received,<br \/>\nAnd through seeking I did find,<br \/>\nThe answers were standing before my own deluded eyes.<\/p>\n<p>There was a door,<br \/>\nAnd it\u2019s one I had seen plenty of times before;<br \/>\nBut I just walked past it,<br \/>\nAnd chose to ignore.<\/p>\n<p>But this time I knocked,<br \/>\nDidn\u2019t expect what I was to find;<br \/>\nA man with wide opened arms,<br \/>\nAnd an invitation to paradise.<\/p>\n<p>He didn\u2019t want no money,<br \/>\nJust for me to accept graciously;<br \/>\nAnd start to tell His truth,<br \/>\nWhich only leads to being rewarded,<br \/>\nWith eternal youth.<\/p>\n<p>So what I ask you all;<br \/>\nIs when you\u2019re looking for an answer,<br \/>\nDon\u2019t deny what you find,<br \/>\nThere is a God in heaven;<br \/>\nDon\u2019t be stupid enough to think that you can hide,<br \/>\nCause the day you don\u2019t expect,<br \/>\nWill come and you\u2019ll be left behind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amen.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cJesus said to him, &#8216;I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
