Forms are now available for the ELCE retreat at Offa House.  The theme is “Encouraging the ELCE Family – Building the Family up”.  The cost is £110 per person for room and full board.  For more information please see the poster on the bulletin board, which will also have accurate timings.

A meeting will take place after Divine Service to help make plans for special events and fundraisers during 2009.  Everyone is invited to come, bring some lunch, and join the brainstorming.  If you have some ideas but can’t make the meeting, please talk to Pr Jon or Curate Gordon.

The ELCE Youth have planned another rally, at St Andrew’s in Ruislip.  The cost is £20, although subsidy is available, and activities include swimming and team challenges.  For more information – including accurate timings – please see the poster on the bulletin board at church.

All of Christine’s friends are welcome to join us as we give thanks for her life and service, mourn her passing, and celebrate that she is now with her Lord.  The service will be followed by the Committal Service at Beckenham Crematorium at 3.45pm.  Memorial gifts in her honour may be made out to the church, or if you wish to give flowers in her memory, please contact Francis Chapel in Orpington.

This year’s AGM occurs today, and all are invited to come and participate as we discuss and plan the life of the church.
